182 PC 182 Nick Boughay - Vale and St Sampsons

Nick joined the Hertfordshire Police after serving in the Army. He transferred to Guernsey where he worked as a response officer before joining the Neighbourhood Policing Team. He is also a member of the police search team.

The north of the island is Nick's patch and you'll regularly see him cycling from job to job (no matter what the weather). 

 

Mark S PC 204 Mark Shields - St Peter Port

Mark joined Guernsey Police 13 years ago after working in the private sector. He has spent his career as a general operational shift officer joining the Neighbourhood Team in March 2020. He is now responsible for the St Peter Port area, and can often be seen around Town. 

 

Lyndsey B  PC 30 Lyndsey Bell - Castel and St Saviours 

Lyndsey joined Guernsey Police 13 years ago, at the age of 18 having completed two years of further education. She has spent the majority of her career as an operational response car driver, however has served secondments within the Training Department, Professional Standards Department, Roads Policing Unit, and now works as part of the Neighbourhood Police Team.

 

Andy Smith  PS Andrew Smith - NPT Sergeant 

Andy joined the Guernsey Police at the end of September 1999 and trained with five others at Ashford Police training Centre, Kent.

He went on to be a Delta response driver, then joined the RPU as a Police motorcyclist for about eight years before doing 12 months in CID and then moving to the Operational Support Unit. He then went back to shift for a short period before promotion.

Andy has now been a Sergeant since 2016, and also acts as the RPU Sergeant. (he is pictured on the left)
