Student Law Enforcement Officers - Class 2/2016

Follow our latest Student Officers through their highs and lows of training to become operational Police and Border Agency Officers in Guernsey.

The Guernsey  Law Enforcement  foundation training course (ILEDP) is a demanding 18 week programme.

It will come as no surprise that during the foundation course students will receive a large amount of law theory inputs.  Students are provided with manuals of guidance to assist with their learning and knowledge checks and formal exams are undertaken regularly.

Fitness, Team Work and Computer Skills are all part of the various activities that take place during the 18 weeks to test the students and develop their skills as an Officer.

Follow the links below to see how the students who are currently undertaking the ILEDP 18 week Foundation Training Course are currently getting along, all in their own words, via their Blog.
