Student Law Enforcement Officers - Class 2/2018

Follow our latest Student Officers through their highs and lows of training to become operational Police Officers in Guernsey.

The Guernsey Law Enforcement foundation training course (ILEDP) is a demanding 18 week programme.

It will come as no surprise that during the foundation course students will receive a large amount of law theory inputs.  They are provided with guidance manuals to help their learning, and knowledge checks and formal exams are undertaken regularly.

Fitness, team work and computer skills are all part of the various activities that take place during the 18 weeks to train the students and develop their skills as an Officer.

Follow the links on the left to see how the students progress, in their own words, via their blog.
